Frequently asked Questions and Answers
How much will my tattoo cost?
The total cost of your tattoo will mostly depend on what you are getting done and the size. We can discuss pricing through the email consultation and plan out sessions if needed. Your retainer is put towards the tattoo, so that will come off of the final price after the tattoo is completed.
Where are you located?
I'm located at a private studio in Weare, NH.
I sent in an email about an appointment, when will I get an answer?
Depending on whether my books are open or not, it may be a few months until you receive a response. Requests are gone through at the end of each 3 month booking block and responded to then. After we begin discussing your ideas typically it will be about a week before a response, if it has been more than a few weeks with no response reread your request to see if it had all of the information necessary to reach back out about an appointment.
I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment, what should I do?
It is best to reach out asap to reschedule or cancel your appointment as I plan my days outside of the shop around appointments and do drawings ahead of time. If you can give me a couple days notice to reschedule, I can carry your deposit over to the new appointment. If you give me little to no notice, another deposit will be required to book. If you last minute cancel or no call no show to your appointment I most likely will not book you an appointment in the future.
Will I see the drawing before the appointment?
Any designs are ready the day of the appointment in the studio. We will have plenty of time during the appointment to go over the design and make any changes necessary. Worst case scenario, you don't like the drawing at all, we can discuss this more in person and may have to reschedule.
Can I drink or take pain medication/numb the area before my tattoo?
Please don't come into your appointment after a few drinks or under the influence of anything and refrain from drinking immediately after your tattoo appointment. After any bleeding has stopped, generally a few hours later, you can resume regular merriment. I mostly recommend arnica supplements to help with pain, bruising, and swelling. Staying hydrating and taking it easy will do wonders for your body during the healing time.
I would prefer you didn't use any topical numbing on the area before the appointment. If we have discussed this ahead of time and approved a product, that is fine, but if not you may have a reaction to the numbing product and we will not be able to do the tattoo that day.
What types of payment do you accept?
I accept cash and credit/debit Cards. While I do accept cards, like any small business we appreciate cash transactions. With card processing there is a 5% fee for the transaction.
